Bangkok to Phnom Penh flights: FAQ

How long is the flight from Bangkok to Phnom Penh?
1h 15m to 1h 25m nonstop: about 1h 20m from Suvarnabhumi, 1h 15m from Don Mueang. Allow a few minutes more on the way back.
Can you connect from a long-haul flight?

Yes. The tourist e-Visa costs $30 and is accepted at Techo Airport; a visa on arrival is also available there, paid in US dollars. Fill in the free e-Arrival card within 7 days before you land.
Why is the land border closed?
After the July 2025 clashes between Thailand and Cambodia, every crossing was closed to travelers. They remain closed in October 2026, and travel advisories still warn against the border area.
